This year for Christmas I worked on finding some old photo's to send to everyone. Here are some of them! They were really fun!

Larry had a birthday party and Spencer and Trey and I were invited! It was so nice! The conversation turned a little racy after a couple glasses of wine! As usual, the food was delicious!

MURDERBALL

I finally found a Quad Rugby, "MURDERBALL" team in the Dallas Fort Worth area thanks to my friend Trey. It a wheelchair version of rugby reserves for quadriplegic athletes like me.
This is me in the Battle Chair, Mad Max style.
Head on hard hits while running drills, they broke me in fast!
I'm feeling ripped, check out those arms!

Check out the video!

Family goes to Vegas....

Spencer, Eli and I all went to Vegas along with Alex, Maggie, Larry and Jason early this month. We had an amazing time! Spencer showed off his poker skills, Eli wanted to stay up and party all night, and I just enjoyed being with my two favorite guys, and extended family!
We met up with Kelly and Kari one night; those two are so in love....
This was really fun...we went out sightseeing one night and this guy had two parrots that were sooo cool! He let us hold them and take pictures with them. They were the most gentle birds, look at the way Eli just holds that one and it sat so nicely for him!!!

Our Wedding

Spencer and I got married on 6.7.8! It was at his parents house, in their amazing back yard. To say it was a beautiful, perfect day, would be an understatement.

My brother James walked me down the isle.

His wife, Lizzie, made mine and Spencers cake and boy were they gorgeous!

My sister Nicole was a bridesmaid, and so was Jill Shepherd and Alex McNeely. Elizabeth was my maid of honor. They were all very supportive and helpful all day (keeping my wine glass full!!) Alex came up with her mom, Maggie, and dad, Larry, and we loved having them there. They have really become part of our family and we feel like we have of theirs too.

Spencer had Greg Vance be his best man, and his friends Kelley and Cody were his groomsmen, along with Elijah. Eli looked so handsome in his tux! Spencer and I read our own vows and it was sweet and a little emotional.

Our flower girls were our neices, Ell and Griffin, who were beautiful and hilarious (waiting to drop the rose petals until they were at the front and then-Dump!-it was great)...

Little Quinton was our ring-bearer and his brother Fisher was an usher. It seems like everyone was involved on this day, from Stu mowing the lawn all week and picking up the beer to Allyssa getting the flowers ordered, to Jan stitching up my wedding gown at the last minute because the straps were too big! So many friends were there and lots of family too. We feel so lucky and blissful as a newly married couple!

Our Honeymoon

Spencer and I decided to go to Vegas for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did! It was a truly wonderful trip.

We stayed four nights/five days at the Palazzo. We got a complimentary upgrade to this suite that was 1300 square feet and had three plasma wall tv's! It was on the 47th floor too! We really felt like VIP's all week. During the day I swam and Spencer played poker. At night, we mostly gambled.

Spencer's friend, who was in the wedding, Kelley Martin took us out one night and it was really fun! Overall, we lost more than we won, but not much. We are planning another trip with Eli to Vegas Aug 10-13 and we are staying at the MGM Grande.

Ok, this is new to us. We do lots of myspacing and emailing, but never a blogspot! Here we go!
